You know how song lyrics seem to resonate with you at different points in your life. I find myself hearing so much more in the same songs that I've listened to for years. One thing that pops in my mind alot these days is how the songwriter must "get it" too. Bob Marley - genius. Beatles - genius. Why? Simplicity. There is genius in simplicity. And, when songs say "Let Love Rule", "All you need is love", "Don't worry, about the thing, cause every little thing, is gonna be alright", "one love", etc, etc, etc....I know they get it too. Why so many etc? Because there are so many people out there who DO "get it". What is there to get? LOVE.
Let Love Rule. Be love. Share it, Vibrate at it, Give it, Recieve it.
I, like many I suspect, can make my life seem so complex and confusing. "How do I manifest this thing I want?" "How do I change my current situation?" "How do I make more money?" "How do I get more love in my life?" "How do I become healthier?" ETC !! And when I relax (chillax) and connect with the feeling of love - all becomes well. And I attract more of that which is good.
How do I connect with the feeling of love?
Well, the easiest way is to remind yourself how much you love yourself. I am also a mama, so I have the feeling of unconditional love inside me. I connect with that. Looking in the eyes of my dogs does it for me too. Talk about unconditional love ! Very much in the same vain as getting into the state of appreciation and gratitude....which comes down to Love.
When I don't know what to do next in certain situations I ask myself - "What do I love?" The answer is in there somewhere. I watched a great film the other day "Joy of Living" (1938) with the fabulous Irene Dunne. The story was how a handsome playboy who fell in love with Irene wanted to show her the Joy of Living. The male lead had a great quote. "A hindu preist once told me 'if it isn't fun, don't do it." (SIMPLICITY) When I think about all that I love, including what I love to DO, the next steps always come to me. And I find myself more productive than ever before, because FUN (LOVE) rules. I grew up with a mother who constantly told me (with an indian accent) "Neerja! You can't always have fun in your life"....And to her now I say, "I love you Mom, but I disagree". :)
I also am very impatient, and learning to be patient also comes down to love. Love = trust = knowing the universe has your back = knowing you are worthy of all that your heart desires. LOVE. I remember hearing or reading somewhere, that you wouldn't tell a child you loved that they were unworthy. Why on earth would you tell yourself you are not worthy!! Love yourself first and foremost and then you become being of love. A being of love gives the greatest love to all those they love and the rest of the world they encounter. Everyone you love benefits from you loving yourself unconditionally.
I had a magical day recently, and when I look at how that day unfolded, it was because I had the intention of being love. Being love and being present. That day was a gift for so many reasons. One of which is to experience how life can be when you are a being of LOVE and you are fully present in the NOW. There is less room for worry, doubt and fear on days like that. Now that I had that recent magical day, I want life like that. And to get it, I must LET LOVE RULE.
